can someone tell me who god would be behind and root for in this situation?.

i am an independent trucker getting ready to go under, as are, and have many of my friends.

due to rising fuel costs.

Can someone tell me who God would be behind and root for in this situation?
I am an independent trucker getting ready to go under, as are, and have many of my friends. Due to rising fuel costs. We lose our trucks, JB Hunt gets to buy them cheap, and gets our skilled drivers cheap, AND we have to follow all their rules.
There seems to be a war against the small businesses and independents of this nation, and I was just wondering if God is for JB Hunt and Wal-mart or the independent truckers and small business owners?
Can someone speak for Him please and answer this question so I can take the appropriate course of action?
I hope God is more predictable than the economy.

he violated the sabbath law and he saved a condemned woman from being stoned in compliance with the law.. does it matter he had scruples and self-justifying theological arguments?.

would those arguments have saved anybody else from being put to death?.

technically speaking (the letter of the law) could we truly speak of jesus as really without sin?.

i've always noticed that when jw's, my inactive hubby included, notice someone is christian, they hate it.

they roll their eyes, snort, or make snide remarks.

i really pissed me off once when my mom in law told my hubby that if she had known why the older ladies wanted to by some of her plants for, she wouldn't have sold them to them.

I wish i could find them and hear their justifcation for doing that to you.
It is hard to pass a judgment without confronting them and hearing their justification for that decision.
You have a very compelling case against them by what i have heard so far.

Or are you looking for some support from people who do not require that to support you?
You are like a prosecutor who points at me in front of the jury, and says:"This man is guilty and crazy!.......The prosecution now rests."
Is that your entire case counsellor?
You are insulting the jury's intelligence if it is.

i remember being a pioneer and telling people how stupid they were for believing in a "burning hell.".

the analogy they told us to use was..... "if you had a small child and they were bad could you take that child and put it's hand over a flame and burn it's flesh and hold his hand there....dispite his screams and his pain?".

of course the answer was always...."no".

God can strike me down at ANY time He chooses.
I recognize His power...that is why I strive to be "cautious as a serpent"...when I say what I do, and behave.
I have a justification for my actions before I act..that way if I do screw up and get struck down..I will have my case ready to present in my defense.
Sometimes it can be a good thing when your opposers watch your every move waiting to strike and accuse you of wrongdoing.
Then you present your airtight case...and THEY end up looking like jackasses....NOT you.
I have learned to cover my own six at all times, as a result.

the connection between thinking and acting; belief and behavior is a vital link; mostly because what we do constitutes our life moment to moment.. we are caught in a flowing rush we cannot escape as though tossed into a raging river.

i am talking about your life.

Self-exaultation and self-righteousness was not looked on in a favorable light to Jesus.
I think He loved and respected the self-admitted sinners more.
As Paul said: "of those I am foremost".

To kill, or resort to threatening them would be dishonoring Himself.
What point is in dishonoring yourself to protect yourself?
You have protected something that is no longer worth protecting.
At least that is what I gather.

If I supply the intelligence you depend on the judge right from wrong, or make critical decisions...and you do not verify it yourself to be the truth first, and just act on it. I will be controlling you and your decisions.
Do you think I would present any intelligence that cast any doubts into my intelligence, proposals, and rules?
Or would I only present the intelligence that supports what I want you to do?
I will tell you up front right now, you need to verify mine, and treat it like you are hearing it from the Devil himself.
Do your OWN research...don't become my dependant puppet.
I can be wrong...by accident, or even on purpose to test you and see if you can catch me slipping.
(If i do slip one on you...i will tell you later, and point it out for you and the rest of class to learn from.)
The way I have it figured....if you can catch me trying to slip one in your ass...you can catch anyone else trying to as well.
You are then able to protect yourself, and that makes me happy.
I am not a babysitter.

Where they trying to get recognition and power for doing what they were supposed to do in the first place?
And they got mad at you for telling the truth?....because it hurt them and their comfort level?
Or did I misunderstand?
